Chantemerle

Welcome to the site of Chantemerle, your private and comfortable holiday cottage with heated swimming pool in the beautiful country side Corrèze, on the border of Lot and Dordogne in southern France.

Chantemerle means: singing blackbird.

This spacious and well equipped country cottage is set in a green lush valley with lovely views. A large garden with several terraces surround the house. The heated pool of 5 x 11 meters is completed with a big terrace of which a part is covered. Here you find as well the summer kitchen with hot/cold water, a stone barbecue and an outside hot/cold water shower for pool use. Privacy is guaranteed because the house is set at a rarely used dead end road. Ample parking is available. Chante Merle was originally built in 1833 and has been fully renovated and extended in 2002. On the ground floor is the fully equipped kitchen (40 m2) and the large salon(50 m2) with a truly majestic fire place. A veranda is connected to the kitchen. The house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. One bedroom is situated downstairs with a bathroom (shower,basin,toilet). The first floor contains the master bedroom with balcony and 'en suite' bathroom, with bath, shower, basin and toilet and as well the third bedroom and a rustic landing with two single sleepers
